For universities

A cleanroom the whole cohort can use at once

Ten process modules that drop into existing microfabrication, materials and device-physics courses. Students work the same tools they would in the bay, without competing for equipment time or consuming substrates to learn on.

See the modules

What you get to teach with

Every module is a recorded walkthrough on real equipment plus an interactive simulation of the same tool, ending in a scored assessment. Run them as pre-lab preparation, as the lab itself where no bay is available, or as remediation for students who need another pass.

Curriculum fit

Modules map onto existing engineering, physics and materials-science syllabi rather than asking you to restructure a course around them.

Virtual laboratories

Spin coating, plasma etching, mask alignment, resist development and parylene deposition, each with the tool's real controls and failure modes.

  • Runs in a browser, no install
  • Unlimited concurrent students

Faculty preparation

Training for the staff who will teach from the material, so demonstrators are not learning the platform alongside the students.

Accreditation support

Module records and outcome mapping in the form accreditation reviews ask for, including ABET.

Student progress

Per-student completion and test scores across a cohort, so you can see which step of a process a class is collectively failing.

Industry connection

Introductions to semiconductor and nanotech employers for internships and graduate placement.

  • Reduce infrastructure costs by up to 80% with virtual laboratory environments
  • Teach current nanofabrication technique without waiting on a capital purchase
  • Licensing that scales from a single module to a whole faculty
  • Integrates with Canvas, Blackboard and Moodle
  • Multilingual support for international institutions
  • Research collaboration opportunities with industry partners
  • Student certificates recognised by employers in the field
  • A dedicated academic contact and regular curriculum updates

How a partnership starts

Departments usually trial the platform in one course for a single term before licensing it more widely. We can work to your academic calendar and procurement cycle.

  1. Scope call

Which courses, which processes, and how the modules would sit in your existing syllabus.

  2. Term trial

One cohort runs the relevant modules for a term. You keep the outcome data.

  3. Licence

Department or faculty-wide access, with LMS integration set up before term starts.
